Tobacco Control Board Members are being acclimatised to their new working environment in order to become as effective as possible in their role in the control of the devastating health, social, and economic effects of tobacco use and exposure to tobacco smoke on individuals and families.

The Tobacco Control Board, established by the Tobacco Control Act, is mandated to provide policy advice to the Minister

The induction will help the new board members to contribute to the fight against tobacco use and will help them hit the ground running. It is structured in a way of providing the members with all the information and support they need to be confident and productive in their roles.
